Relevant Qualifications: A qualification in a construction related discipline, awarded by a recognised/approved awarding body.
Level 5 Qualification:
Typically means a Level 5 qualification as defined in the National Qualification Framework for England and Northern Ireland and the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, or (Level 8/9 equivalent) in the Scottish Qualifications and Credit Framework, or (Level 7 equivalent) in Rep. of Ireland. Typical qualifications include an HND, bachelor’s degree, NVQ 5.
Qualifications from other overseas applicants will be assessed for equivalency at the time of application.
Level 4 Qualification:
Typically means a Level 4 qualification as defined in the National Qualification Framework for England and Northern Ireland and the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, or (Level 7 equivalent) in the Scottish Qualifications and Credit Framework, or (Level 6 equivalent) in Rep. of Ireland. Typical qualifications include an HNC, NVQ 4, or equivalent.
Qualifications from other overseas applicants will be assessed for equivalency at the time of application.
Construction Trade Qualification:
A formal qualification in a construction trade through an apprenticeship or similar approved route.
Relevant Experience:
Relevant experience means the minimum number of years (post qualification) with personal responsibility in the role of construction inspection, construction supervision/management, surveying or similar.
In certain circumstances the minimum number of years relevant experience may be relaxed where a potential applicant can demonstrate substantial, relevant and sufficient experience has been achieved, to satisfy the competency requirements, as defined in the Competency
Requirements Guidelines, to warrant such a relaxation.

In any circumstance relaxation for less than 3 years relevant experience shall not be considered.
